Fermenstation develops high-value-added food ingredients that are both delicious and functional, using its unique upcycling technology that uses microbial fermentation to produce unused biomass, such as food waste from food and beverage manufacturers. In addition to joint development with partner companies, the company is also focusing on developing its own upcycled ingredients. As an example, the company is developing upcycled ingredients fermented from rice bran that impart a new Milk flavor, and flavored ethanol that incorporates the characteristics of various unused biomass. Fermenstation aims to build a society that regenerates and recycles unused biomass that has been discarded until now, and aims to develop upcycled ingredients and implement products that use them in society that meet the needs of food waste, oil-free, clean labels, etc.
